Secret Santa

For me, one of the best things about Christmas is giving presents.....no, i really mean that.

I love picking the perfect gift for each person on my list. Trying to make sure I get them something they'll love.

And then there's the wrapping.

Sitting on the floor with a Christmas movie or music, glass of bubbles, meters of paper and ribbon and tape around me  and I am a happy girl.

So, when I was offered to take part in not one, but two Social Media Secret Santa gift swaps,
I jumped at the idea.

The inspiring  Chantelle coordinated the very awesome 'Social Media Secret Santa'. I had so much fun with this and have found a whole heap of new blogs to love and stalk......including my Secret Santa, recipient.

Daniella from Digella Emporium, I think if I'd met Daniella, or at least her blog while I was still in Qld,
I might have managed to fall in love with Brisbane......anyway, back to presents.

For Daniella, I chose a chalkboard tote bag and beautiful handmade shopping list book perfect for trips to Farmers Markets and other gourmet adventures.
Daniella had also hinted that she'd like an eye mask,
so knowing her favourite colour was pink, I bought one from my lovely friend

In another online space, a gorgeous group of ladies and I also had a Kris Kringle and my recipient there was the (also from Qld - spooky!) very adorable Tea for Evie
Thinking all things vintage and pretty I put together a collection of goodies, including handmade journal, magnets and decoration with a healthy dose of Cath Kidston.

I had so much fun putting these parcels together and wrapping them up with some Christmas love.

And I was spoilt by Secret Santa partners too....one even hand delivered my gift - sneakily leaving on my porch for me to discover! Both parcels arrived on a day when I really needed a boost,
so THANKYOU so much Carmen and Amy x

Two of my very favourite things : Chocolate and wine !

Such cute handmade wrapping and truly thoughtful gifts.

I really enjoyed this Secret Santa, the online stalking (in a good way) and discovering new blogs.
Being  at home can sometimes feel quite isolating, but this brought the blogging into my lounge room
and under the Christmas tree and I loved it !
For those that were playing also playing along, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas,
Dee x
